Hello, Conference Attendees!
On behalf of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA), we would like to extend a warm welcome to Nashville, Tennessee. Each year, this annual conference gives thousands of businesses and aviation professionals a chance to connect and network. We are thrilled to serve as the host airport for the 39th Annual AMAC Airport Business Diversity Conference.
This year’s conference theme is “Soaring to New Horizons,” to reflect what we’re doing here at Nashville International Airport® (BNA®). BNA has experienced remarkable growth over the past decade, with passenger numbers doubling (fiscal year 2013: 10.6 million; fiscal year 2023: 21.9 million). As BNA continues to experience exponential growth, we’re building a world-class airport for a world-class city. We recently finished our $1.5 billion expansion and renovation program, BNA® Vision, and are currently busy with our $2.1 billion expansion plan, New Horizon, designed to take us to even greater heights.
Additionally, we are incredibly proud of our commitment to economic inclusion and diversity initiatives at MNAA. Through our dynamic outreach to small, minority, and women-owned businesses, we now have 474 certified firms. These firms have completed over $330 million in construction, professional services, and goods and services as part of our BNA Vision ® and New Horizon programs.
While in Music City, we encourage you to fully immerse yourself in our culture. Explore the beauty of Nashville’s outdoors and enjoy the live music and neon lights of our famous Broadway at night. From our renowned music scene to our vibrant culinary experience to exploring our rich history through museums and more, we can promise you one thing: from the moment you land at BNA, you’ll see why Nashville is the it city.
Welcome to Nashville and enjoy the conference!
