Day 2 (Program Administration): This training will cover all the detailed essentials of 49 CFR Part 26 and Part 23 needed by hands-on program administrators, including goal setting, the small business element, procurement, good faith efforts, terminations and substitutions, monitoring, reporting and shortfall analysis. Considerations and tips on reviewing ACDBE joint venture agreements will also be discussed.

This annual event benefits the AMAC Foundation Scholarship program. It also honors one of AMAC’s tireless servants, Bill Walker. Mr. Walker’s affiliation with the AMAC Airport Business Diversity Conference began in Los Angeles, CA, in 1988 while Vice President at Pacific State Airlines. He began planning the golf tournament shortly after and continued to organize it until illness prevented him from doing so. This event continues to be a perennial favorite and a way for attendees to provide scholarships to students who are rising aviation professionals.

The Minority Business Development Agency’s (MBDA’s) San Antonio Business Center is staffed by subject matter experts and advocates who help high-growth ethnic minority businesses access contracts, markets and capital.
