Nicholas Giles

Nicholas Giles serves as equal opportunity specialist with the FAA Office of Civil Rights, National Airport Civil Rights Policy and Compliance External Team where works with internal and external stakeholders to develop policy and provide oversight with regard to the Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Program, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964- including Environmental Justice (EJ) complaints and Limited English Proficiency (LEP) issues.

Mr. Giles previously held a position at the USDA Office of Assistant Secretary of Civil Rights, Employment Adjudication Division, where he was responsible for adjudicating Title VII complaints and managing the processes of all EEO post-closure matters for the Department. At the USDA, Mr. Giles also served as a special assistant to the Mississippi State Director of Rural Development where he was responsible for strategic planning and the implementation of new Departmental programmatic initiatives such as StrikeForce.

Mr. Giles graduated from Howard University with a Bachelors of Arts in Legal Communications, earned a juris doctorate from Southern University Law Center and obtained a Masters in Law in Constitutional Law & Civil Rights from American University Washington College of Law.
