Amanda is the Chief of Aviation Construction within the Engineering Department at the Port Authority of NY & NJ. Amanda assists to manage the Construction Management Division which oversees all construction programs and initiatives at the Port Authority facilities.

Amanda has extensive experience on major capital programs utilizing alternate delivery methods such as JFK Redevelopment, Newark Redevelopment , The Restore the George Program, LaGuardia Airport Redevelopment and JFK AirTrain.  

Amanda was the Engineering Department’s Construction Management Lead Engineer responsible for The LaGuardia Redevelopment Program from 2012 through 2018. Amanda had a vital role in completing the infrastructure projects at LaGuardia Airport to prepare for the selection and award of the PPP Redevelopment Program. Amanda also was on the selection committee for the PPP Terminal B Redevelopment Program.

In 2018 Amanda accepted a promotion to lead the Restore the George Program. The 2 Billion dollar capital program consists of 12 construction contracts over 9 years. This program will rehabilitate and replace many critical aspects of the George Washington Bridge, inclusive of replacing the suspender ropes, the PIP Helix and the rehabilitation of the 178^th & 179^th Streets. 

Amanda served as the Resident Engineer at John F. Kennedy Airport for 10 years working on a vast portfolio of projects. She has expanded on terminals, built new terminals, demolished old terminals, replaced roadway infrastructure as well as maintained the integrity of the airfield.  

Amanda started her career at the AirTrain Terminal at Jamaica Station. She was responsible for coordination with the Long Island Rail Road, general field inspection and contract administration.  

Amanda is a graduate from Manhattan College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, is a licensed professional Engineer, a certified construction manager and a LEED accredited professional.
