Dear AMAC Supporters:

It is my honor and pleasure to serve as the National Conference Planning Chair for the 37th Annual AMAC Airport Business Diversity Conference. Thank you to AMAC Board of Directors Chair Ricky Smith, AMAC President & CEO Eboni Wimbush, previous National Chair Shannetta Griffin and the entire AMAC National Office for your tremendous support throughout our planning process.
I am excited to welcome all conference attendees to as according to Commissioner Jamie Rhee with the Chicago Department of Aviation, “the best conference ever!”

This is the first in-person AMAC conference since the start of the global COVID-19 pandemic. We assure you that your safety is our highest priority. With that said, we are pleased to advise that precautionary measures are in place so that you have an enjoyable experience.

Over the past few months, I have heard from colleagues throughout the aviation industry that they want to get back to some sense of normalcy. But what does that look like? This conference plans to be a “restart” with amazing content, and much-desired networking opportunities that will remind us of the good ole days!
Chicago is the third-largest city in the United States and home to our beloved former President Barack Obama. Known for its food and culture, Chicago is also a hub of business with several Fortune 500 companies headquartered in the Chicago area. From the Magnificent Mile to Navy Pier, our Conference Planning Committee is prepared to share the best of Chicago with our conference attendees.

I am thankful to serve as your National Conference Planning Chair and I look forward to seeing each of you. I am hopeful that you will find your experience beneficial.

Let’s go, #AMAC2022!
