Randall Burke

Randall “Randy” Burke was selected as the Director ATC Facilities and Engineering Services effective 6 June 2021.  He is one of the principal advisors to the Vice President, Technical Operations on air navigation facilities, services and infrastructure.  Mr. Burke executes his mission through a multi-layered, geographically- dispersed organization with a combined staff of over 1600 employees.

Mr. Burke served as the Director Technical Operations Central Service Area from March 2020 through May 2021 and as the Director of the FAA Logistics Center from December 2016 through February 2020.  Prior to joining the FAA, Randy acquired over 29 years of aviation experience including 26 years as a US Air Force maintenance and logistics officer.   After leaving the USAF in 2013, he was the Vice President of Operations and Accountable Manager for a privately held LLC, leading a team responsible for inspection, repair, material management and production support of propeller systems for a worldwide customer base.

During his tenure with the Air Force he served as the deputy commander of the KC-135, B-52, B-1 and E-3 depot lines at Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Oklahoma and as the commander of the C-5, C-130, C-17 and F-15 depot production lines at Warner-Robins Air Logistics Center, Georgia. His focus in these positions was life-cycle logistics planning and execution. In 2007, he served for 6 months as the Director of the Baghdad Logistics Control Center supporting reconstruction projects throughout Iraq. Randy’s last USAF assignment was as the Director of Logistics Operations, HQ Air Mobility Command.

Randy has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Science Degree in International Relations from Troy State University
