Nigel Stephens has over 25 years of experience in legislation and public policy, government relations, and public affairs. He has worked in the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, on political campaigns, and in the private sector to drive initiatives around innovation and IT modernization, small business and entrepreneurship, minority business development, modernizing government, and economic development.

Prior to launching Phoenix Strategies, Nigel led two government affairs offices for IT service and software providers with significant footprint in the Public Sector. He has served in both Chambers of Congress as Chief of Staff for Rep. Yvette D. Clarke (NY), Professional Staff on the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and Legislative Assistant for Rep. Albert R. Wynn (MD).
