Juan is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in the field of aviation program management. Currently serving as a principal and vice president at Freese and Nichols, Inc., he has dedicated over 25 years to the industry.

One of Juan’s notable achievements was his role as the Program Director for TRIP (Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program) at DFW Airport. This program involved overseeing a major renovation and expansion project aimed at increasing gate capacity. With a budget exceeding $3.2 billion, Juan successfully managed the project, ensuring its smooth execution and completion.

In his current position, Juan serves as the program manager for the San Antonio Airport program’s new terminal expansion. This responsibility demonstrates his continued involvement in leading and overseeing significant airport infrastructure projects. Recognizing the importance of keeping airports operational during construction, Juan excels as a leader. He understands the complexities and challenges involved in working on airport projects, including the management of baggage systems, AACS (Airport Access Control Systems), hot water chilled water systems, and BIM (Building Information Modeling) implementation. Juan’s proactive approach allows him to identify and address potential issues in advance, mitigating risks and ensuring project success. Juan holds a Civil Engineering degree from Texas A&M University and is a registered engineer in the state of Texas.
