Jarrett W. Simmons

Mr. Simmons currently serves as Chief Development Officer/Deputy Director Infrastructure for the Houston Airport System (HAS). In this role he oversees planning, design, construction, maintenance, and vehicle fleets for George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and Ellington Airport/Spaceport (EFD). He is also responsible for the HAS $4 Billion Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The HAS CIP includes the $1.3 Billion IAH International Airport Terminal Redevelopment Program and the upcoming $1.4 Billion IAH Domestic Terminal Redevelopment Program. Prior to that role he served as an aviation consultant and subject matter expert (SME) for various consulting firms and government entities. Mr. Simmons previously served for six years as the Assistant Director of Planning for HAS. While in this role he was responsible for managing the Asset Management, Planning, Environmental, CAD/GIS, CIP, and the Public Art Divisions of the HAS. He also served for five months as the Interim General Manager for George Bush Intercontinental Airport. In this role he oversaw more than 600 employees who were responsible for the operations, maintenance, and safety of the airport.
