AMAC Committees play a critical role in the execution of AMAC’s mission, vision and strategic plan. Our goal is for each committee to be representative of our membership and include members from various functions and backgrounds.
Through our annual conferences you will be able to further develop your professional expertise and business network. Three times a year we will bring to you educational programs covering a range of subjects from how to do business at airports to important issues affecting the DBE Program to regional opportunities and policies. Our conferences attract airport executives, concessionaires, professional service providers, and government.
Training has emerged as a strategic focus for AMAC. Resources of the organization are being aligned to bring more professional training opportunities directly to you in range of subject areas. Regional Directors will plan training and outreach forums that offer a broader solution to marketplace business challenges. These 1-1.5 day forums will focus on training for owners and industry professionals, business match making and outreach events around “real” contract and procurement opportunities.
Roundtables have been around for some time but often are not successful due to pre-placement assessments. AMAC and its Prime stakeholders look to connect non-traditional areas of work with AMAC members that have been identified to have the experience, capacity and willingness to work. Initial business sector groups are AEC, aerospace vendors, finance and concessionaires.
