The mission of the Airport Minority Advisory Council Educational and Scholarship Program, Inc. (AMAC ESP) is to develop educational programs and information designed to substantially increase the nationwide pool of future aviation professionals, particularly minorities and women, and to contribute to the public’s understanding of the aviation industry. The following events are fundraisers for AMAC ESP held in conjunction with our conference. Tax-deductible sponsorships and branding opportunities are available for each individual event.

AMAC Educational & Scholarship Program

Our Scholarship Awards Program is designed to support the next generation of aviators and membership. We request that you get involved as a mentor, scholarship supporter, and advocate for education and training.

AMAC is introducing a new Internship Program. The main objective of the Internship Program is to provide real-world work experience for college students seeking a career in Aviation.Please provide the links that connects us to an internship that you or your company plans to offer- or any that you know about that fit the criteria. This program helps our AMAC interns stay connected with members and grow in the Aviation Industry.

ProjectLift (Leaders Inspiring Future Talent)

Project LIFT is a program that exposes regional high school and college students to aviation-related professionals. A group of AMAC professionals will discuss their career paths, and offer mentoring. Students will hear firsthand, details of an actual airport improvement project and how various professionals impact the development of the project, from concessionaires to architects. This effort is part of the AMAC ESP mission to encourage minority and female students to explore careers in aviation.
