Gene Roth is the National Team Lead for the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Airport Concession DBE (ACDBE) Compliance Programs at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). As the National Team Lead, Mr. Roth is directly responsible to the Director of National External Operations Programs, for overseeing eight regional team members that manage all facets of the comprehensive and complex DBE and ACDBE Programs at FAA.
Prior to joining FAA in January 2011, Mr. Roth served as the Executive Director of the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) and the AMAC Educational and Scholarship Program (AMACESP) in Washington, DC. AMAC is the largest national trade association in the United States dedicated to increasing opportunities for minorities and women in the aviation industry. Prior to joining AMAC/AMACESP, Mr. Roth worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car as the Director of Corporate Purchasing and Supplier Diversity.
A St. Louis, Missouri native currently living in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Roth holds a B.B.A. and M.B.A. in Management and is currently in process of completing a Doctorate of Management- Organizational Leadership.
